The Affordable Christmas: How to Have a Fabulous Holiday without Breaking the Bank by Mary Hunt, founder of the Debt-Proof Living magazine formerly known as Cheapskate Monthly provides practical DIY financial and low-cost entertainment self-help for Exactly What It Says In The Title, interspersed with heartwarming seasonal personal anecdotes, free courtesy of Christian publisher Baker's Revell imprint.

According to the author's foreword, these tips can also be applied to other holiday celebrations such as Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, and a quick skim through the opening chapters seems to indicate that this is very much a mainstream-ish DIY advice guide with no overt inspirational faith mentions that I spotted, so non-religious secular persons should be able to get good use out of this as well.
