Calibre updat 2.19 to 2.42

Hello,
will I get problems if I update from 2.19 to 2.42 ?
What should I save beforehand ?

You won't have any problem updating. Nothing needs to be saved.

Just do your standard backup of the Configuration and Library.

Backups never hurt (for a number of reasons).

But you shouldn't need to.

Thanks for all you answers. I will make a backup of the library and go on with the update with fingers crossed.

Normally I don't wait this Long for an update, but ......
