One Lane Bridge: A Novel by Don Reid is his sfnal contemporary literary/men's fiction novel involving a man in the throes of some sort of family drama who apparently discovers that he can journey back to the 1930s via the mysterious titular bridge whereupon he meets some strangers and there's the obligatory heartwarming life-changing series of bonding and events (kind of like that original Twilight Zone episode), free courtesy of Christian publisher David C. Cook.

Technically, this has previously been offered free in 2013, but it doesn't seem to have gotten mentioned on MR when I run a search and it looks interestingly sfnal* in nature and I'm feeling some classic TZ nostalgia, so I'm just going to count it as a new offering for the purposes of the daily non-repeat thread count.

Description
What J. D. needs is a little peace and quiet. He is trying to run two restaurants, keep his daughter from dropping out of college, and satisfy his lonely, aging mother. Cash begins to disappear from one of the restaurants, and he and his wife argue about how to deal with the problem.

One tranquil evening, J. D. takes off on a ride in the country to clear his mind. Top down, setting sun, wind in his hair ... leak in the radiator. When he walks up to an old farmhouse to ask for water, he finds a family living in poverty, and vows to help. When he returns with groceries, he can't find them or the house—although he's not lost. While J. D. struggles to make sense of this mystery, his behavior creates doubt in his marriage, and even his best friend thinks he's crazy. And when he solves it, his life is changed forever.

* Mind you, not sufficiently interesting to get me to read it personally, since in past experience, sfnal novels written by persons with non-sfnal backgrounds and/or not already possessing high degrees of experimental literary talent tend to be… not good.
