Question Needed Plugins
I have had a Kindle Oasis for about a year. I have ordered a Kobo Sage that should be here Monday. What Calibre Plugins do I need to install?

My Calibre version is 5.24. Do I need to update it for the Sage?

You should keep Calibre updated. I don't know which version Calibre added support for the Sage. Updating adds new features and fixes bugs.

As for plugins, that depends what you want to do. I use...

These are the plugins I use for Calibre and for my Kobo. I have some others, but they don't do anything for Calibre or Kobo.

Congrats - I had plenty of Kobo's, but last reader I had was an Oasis. The screen started fading in the corners after 13 months so I am now a Sage owner... Enjoy!

None. Everything you need is in the base calibre install. Anything else may give extra function, but, at the expense of some complications. My recommendation to any new Kobo user is to use the device and then work out what you want to change or need to do.

Yes. Calibre 5.30.0 is the first version with support for the Sage.
