A Hopeful Heart by Amy Clipston is the 1st in her Hearts of the Lancaster Grand Hotel series of f/m contemporary workplace romances set at the eponymous hotel, which involves a mix of Amish and non-Amish for both its employees and its ownership, this installment centred around a newly-widowed Amish woman and her late husband's non-Amish friend & business partner and their growing attraction in the midst of dealing with their mutual grief, free courtesy of Christian publisher Zondervan, now an imprint of HarperCollins.

I'd previously morbid-curiosity-read one other Zondervan freebie from Clipston, in her Kauffman Amish Bakery series, and found it to be actually a pretty nice read which dealt sensitively with clashing faith issues (among closely-related already-Christian Protestant denominations, mind you) and I liked it the best out of the 3 dedicated Christian publisher fiction freebies I tried. So this one should probably be a pretty decent read which I'd personally be willing to try on the strength of the author's previous work, even though this one doesn't look like it has any tasty Amish baking recipes in it like her other freebie did.
