Voyage dims briefly when on 'Auto'

Someone has recently posted that the Voyage 'learns' one's preferences if the tick is in the Auto box for the light.

Mine seems to go dim every twenty minutes for about fifteen seconds and then come bright again.

Is this all part of the learning process?

If so, will it stop?

Yes, and yes. It is part of the process, and it will stop once it has learned how you like it. Make sure you regulate the light as you like it to be just after it has dimmed, that way your Voyage learns your preferences.

Yep, that's how I did it, and after 2 or 3 days the dimming and back up while exterior lighting was unchanged was gone. Obvisouly if you go outside and back inside with your Voyage, it will still have to dim and reassess the lighting conditions, but will not come back up with full lighting on.

It depends on how bright it was outside. I noticed the other day and was pleasently surprised that in full sunlight the light dims to the lowest setting. Stepping in the shade turns it back up. Nice to know that reading outdoors does not always have the light at max.
