Exclamation PC does not recognize Kobo Aura
Hey!
I've been having problems with connecting my Kobo Auro to my PC and it just won't recognize it.
I've tried everything from factory reset to exchanging my Kobo.
When I plug in the USB to my PC, a pop-up on the Kobo says, "Computer Detected. Would you like to connect your eReader to your computer to manage files? *Cancel* *Connect*"
I select "Connect" and nothing happens.

I'm losing my mind.
Help.
Please.

Sounds like a defective cable, could also be a damaged port on your Reader or computer. Try a new cable, that might solve your issue.

What OS are you running? And what have you looked at to see that nothing happens?

For Windows 7, it should appear as a drive. If it doesn't, nothing else will see it. But, it might appear in "Devices and Printer" with an indicator show there is a problem.

You could also check Control Panel | Device Manager and look under the USB section; see if there are any unidentified devices.
