![]() ![]() ![]() It makes editing books so much easier with less jumping around between keyboard, mouse and different screens. ![]() EDIT: I still love it...but... With the "normal search" you could use the arrows keys to navigate the text that was found or just type to edit. With the saved searches you still need to click within the text, edit, click back on the "saved searches" . . . then you can continue using keyboard shortcuts. Is there a way to get focus to stay with the last search method??? I will say it again, what you have done so far is a marked improvement! Last edited by JoeBloe; 09-28-2014 at 05:24 PM. The search shortcuts are global. They work for both the normal search panel and the saved searches panel. That means when you trigger the shortcut calibre has to decide which panel you want to use. It does so based onwhich panel has input focus.

I tweaked the logic slightly, now the focus goes to the editor and the global keyboard shortcut triggers the saved search as long as the saved search window is open and the normal search panel is closed.

I probably must miss something but now for me, with 2.4, the saved searches function is unusable. The saved searches window is stuck on the left part of the screen and I do not know how to access to saved searches.
Is there a way to free it again (to make it independant like before) ? |

If you want to undock the window (make it float) simply click the little button with a square on it at the right top corner of the window.
