Calibre email error?

I was able to get it fixed on my own. Thank you for trying to help me!

I click connect & share - email - blahblah@kindle.com

I am getting this error whenever I try to email.

Starting job: Email 1001 Dark Nights: Roped In to blahblah@kindle.com

I have checked all my settings and even uninstalled and then reinstalled but all of my settings remain the same.

To make a long story short my cloud storage backup couldn't find Calibre so I made a new file name after I backed up a copy on my old thumb drive. The cloud storage just didn't work. They never did figure out what was wrong and I gave up. Calibre has never worked right after that. When I fist tried to reinstall it couldn't find any of my books so it rebuilt the data something. All my books showed up but it didn't work correctly even after uninstalling Calibre and reinstalling.

I am beyond frustrated with it at this point, ugh.

Yes and it was working fine until a few days ago.

I've got it! I changed SMTP Port from 587 to 465 and encryption from TLS to SSL and it is working again. Not sure why it stopped but at this point I don't care.

Ah!

Did you try the 'test' button on the configure form?

Your firewall may have updated and you may need to now allow calibre.exe
