problems with conversion in regards to line spacing on kobo
I am using a kobo e-reader aura.
When I convert a epub and select the output to the kobo e-reader it does not appear to really do anything. I go to "look and feel" and select for output Kobo reader and after I have converted the epub file and put it on my device I cannot adjust the line spacing. However if I convert an mobi file using the same process I can adjust the line spacing on my kobo. Is there a reason for this? Should I be doing something in the "look and feel" tab? |

When you try 100% and 0%, use the Book editor to see if there is a line-height in the CSS. If there still is, you'll have to manually remove them from all your converted ePub. |

Just Changing PREFERENCES will have no effect FOR THAT BOOK . The setting applies only NEW-FUTURE conversions. You can make Calibre forget that the book was converted by using the appropriate Tick (bulk) or Button (Single) Otherwise: fine tune the setting in the Conversion Dialog to prevent clearing other 'adjustments' made for that book |

For the line height, I always remove any settings for the main text of the book. The Kobo firmware will adjust that correctly. But, I do that via the editor and can never remember how to achieve the same result when doing a conversion. |
