What does this mean, and what do I do now?

Your database is corrupted look for the file metadata.db in your calibre library folder, delete it then start calibre, it will start with a blank list of books, use the restore library function to repopulate the list of books as described here: http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq....n-app-is-blank
