Open epub library books

I tried to do a search but as you might imagine "open epub" got lots of irrelevant results...

I recently borrowed a couple of books in open epub format from my local library (using overdrive). I couldn't download them directly to my T2. Not having any problems with ADE epubs, just the open epub ones. Is this normal and a known issue? I haven't tried sideloading them, I just loaded them to my tablet instead.

Can you download an ePub from any other places (like the MR library)? Maybe the Sony's browser won't initiate a download on files with a .epub extension (DRM'd ePub's have you downloading a .acsm file that initiates the ePub download).

Feedbooks.com has a whole section of Public Domain books. I just went to my T2's browser and downloaded Victor Hugo's "Hunchback of Notre Dame" without issue (Feedbooks does a good job with formatting). It immediately showed up in the Recently Added section. Just go to Feedback.com and scroll down to the bottom of the first page and you'll Public Domain, click on that and it's separated by categories. (I assume these are Open ePubs.)
