My PRS 350 reformatted

Not sure what happened, but after adding a book the usual way I do with Calibre my reader displayed a peculiar message about the book format and then proceeded to reformat. Everything is gone.

This is not really a big deal, because I can just load the books I want back, which I've already done. Oddly enough I added the very book that caused the difficulty first and it caused no trouble.

However, I have lost all pictures and don't seem to be able to find the directory to put them in. Does anyone have any idea where I can create a folder and copy pictures that will show up for me to select as screen backgrounds?

Hmmmm.
If I were you, I might consider doing a factory reset. That way you would have the folders and misc files necessary in the locations that they were meant to be in.
I've never seen behavior like that in my 650 or my wife's 350.

I tried that and for some reason it left me pictureless again. So, I got a friend's 350 last night, connected it to my PC and looked at the directory structure. I was missing a few folders so I simply created them and voila, it worked. I put my own pics in my newly created images folder and everything seems fine.
