Where can I find the Desktop installable?
Tried it on three different browsers, and can't get the Desktop installable to download. Click on the "Download now" button, and nothing happens.

Do I have to send away for the secret decoder ring?

Or can someone help me with a direct link?

Desktop installable? If you mean the Installer for the Kobo Desktop application then the windows version is here: http://www.kobosetup.com/pc/explorer

That URL will change depending on which web browser you use. /explorer for Microsoft's Internet Explorer, /firefox for Mozilla's browsers, /chrome for Google Chrome.

I've found that the download/install button on the Kobo website doesn't work in IE 11. It does work in Chrome.

Anyway. Desktop uninstalled, re-installed, and problem still there. As discussed in this thread, it seems to be a design intention. (Not a successful one, imo.)

Interesting that it doesn't work with Firefox since I normally download it with Nightly (Firefox beta) 32.0a1 x64.

With one of the earlier builds, I did get the web page is redirecting in a way that will never end error message but that cleared up about 3 days/releases later.

Hmm, strange. I don't get any errors, just ... no response to clicking on the Download button. Nothing at all.

I've tried all the usual stuff, like clearing caches, rebooting both my browser and the OS, but no success.

Anyway, the file for re-installation downloaded okay from the direct link.

Yeah, it ends well in the sense of downloading the file successfully, but the question of why the link doesn't work isn't resolved.

I sent an e.mail yesterday evening to Kobo support, but haven't had a response yet.

Well I got the link on Opera, so /explorer is probably the one it defaults to.
