EE Reader (E-Ink side) not responding to stylus
My reader screen just won't respond to the stylus any longer. Cannot calibrate, cannot write in the journal, cannot access the menu, or advance pages using the stylus. Tried restarting, etc. no joy..
The reader loads books, can advance and back off pages using the buttons. The magnify button works... just no response to the stylus. Using Allmine 0.4. Should I update to Allmine 0.5? Anybody have any insights... They'll be appreciated...

I seen to remember someone having the same issue where removing the battery for a few hours 'cleared' the problem.

I left the battery out for 6 hours, restarted the EE and it had no effect...

I tried 4 of them. They all work on my various PEs, but not on the EE...

Ouch!
Like Gunner, I thought I remembered other people having similar problems. So far I only see someone who thought a plain old "stick" stylus should work, which clearly is not your problem!  If you haven't already, you might try searching through the old forums (by keyword). I hope you get it back!! |

You may have to get the screw driver out and check that the flat cable connecting the digitizer circuit board to the main board is firmly in place. I have a memory that was the problem for one person way back at the beginning of this forum or towards the end of the old eDGe forums.
