				Lrf to AZW3?

I used to use my Sony prs 505 a lot more than I do now. The frontlight on my Paperwhite is necessary for reading in my dimly-lit house. I used to convert to old lrf files to mobi. Can I convert them to AZW3 in order to use custom fonts? Or should I do a work-round via epub?

There won't be an issue with DRM. Thanks. |

you can convert from any format to any other format, there is no need to go via epub.

While oyou can convert directly between any two supported formats, it is sometimes desirable to convert to an editable format first. You can then make necessary edits before converting to the final format.

If you read the various threads on such topics, the recommendation for using ePub as that intermediary editable format is common. It is mentioned less often, but Amazon's AZW3 format is also editable in calibre so there is no need for a 2 step LRF>ePub>AZW3 workflow. |
