Anyone else here use Hotmail (Outlook.com) with Firefox?

Since this morning, the "Send Mail" function seems to have broken. You write the email, click "Send", and the screen just sits there forever saying "Sending...". I've checked and it still works fine with IE10, so I suspect something changed at HM which Firefox doesn't like.

The mail does in fact get sent - it's simply that the web site doesn't tell you.

Mildly irritating.

I have a Hotmail account and use Firefox. I just tested my Hotmail account and the same thing happened.

Agreed it is very annoying.

Thanks for confirming that it's not just me

. Hopefully they'll fix it. Seems to be a Firefox-specific issue; as I said, it still works fine in IE10.

You can, by the way, get back to the inbox using the links at the top of the screen, so it's purely a "cosmetic" issue, rather than one which affects functionality.

Haven't had to send any emails so I don't know if I am also affected but I do use firefox browser and hotmail.

Gmail is better then Hotmail. As the saying goes...

Hotmail for when you absolutely positively have to lose your email with a click of the mouse.

The problem seems to be fixed now.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not looking for thoughts on which email system I should be using

. I do in fact use gmail as my main email; I have a hotmail account that I use for other purposes.
