Any plans for writing ONIX metadata?

Anything on the radar for creating ONIX compliant metadata files? The Sigil people nominated Calibre as a better potential home for this feature.

Then the Sigil people (or anyone else) is welcome to create a plugin for it. Ir wont be part of the main calibre release as ONIX is a niche use case.
