Kobo Touch Blank Covers

I lost covers on sideloaded epubs. They're showing normally on recent kepubs and previosly loaded epubs, but on the recent ones there is only black rectangle. The book is fine, it's just the covers that are missing.How to get them back?

If you have used Calibre to sideload your book, you can get the cover back editing the book's metadata and loading it again to your Kobo.

I am not seeing any problem with covers for epubs or kepubs from Kobo. For sideloaded kepubs, the cover is shown as a small dot unless the cover image is identified as such in the file. The Kobo Extended plugin does this.
