I don't know if it's mere procratination on my life and studies or if I'm really that interested in Kindle, but I see I spend so much that reading about it sometimes I forget I have one by my side with a good book in the middle. Does anyone feels the same?

Can't say I've had the same problem. I do try to keep reasonably up-to-date with the world of e-readers in general including the development of the Kindle, but it's really a small amount of my time.

I do spend alot of time downloading and cataloguing freebies from Amazon. That really is a bit of a time suck.

Oh this week it is me. I have a horrid cold and a book I hate . I seem to have spent more time on the forums than reading my book.

Oh, absolutely! It might just be that I'm new to ereading, but being able to multitask seamlessly on the iPad means that I'll start a book, and then come over here... And inevitably spend more time here than in my book!

I read more than I forum about reading. But my stargazing hobby is another matter - more time in the Astronomy forums than actually out with my telescope.

I sometimes feel like this. I also wonder why I still spend time looking for free books when I have years worth of reading material already!

There are some days where I feel this way. But, I think it's more about the full fledged tablets than actually reading on the Kindle. I've been on the lookout for the next new gizmo to usurp my Fire so I can get that "new fondleslab high" again.

But, until I see a new color eInk that is worthwhile on the horizon, I don't catch too much straight eReader news past "tools" updates. |

I think it has to do with the newness of the technology and methods. Just like when I discovered the library in school. First thing you do is look around at everything. |

![]() I get a high when I find out about new readers, and I am still waiting for my flexible, rollable, color eink reader. When oh when will I have one? |

I'll go through phases where I read more about ebooks than ebooks themselves.

Right now I rushed to read a book I wasn't really into that a friend gave me so I could read a really well written spy novel. |

Though I spent some time choosing an e-reader and sorting from the different ones available I cannot say I have read books and books about what reader I would eventually pick so I have definitely read more e-books than I have read about any e-reader.
