Exclamation Calibre crashing, multiple occassions


I have been using Calibre for a year now with few problems. Those I had I was able to solve with the manual.

I installed the 64bit app and worked well so uninstalled 32bit version.

As of yesterday the programme has been crashing on multiple occassions.

I cannot convert from epub to mobi at all, can from mobi to epub.
Also crashes if adding books, editing metadata on random occassions.

I am running Windows 8 pro, with the latest calibre version - crashing started in 0.9.11.

There have been no hardware or software changes other than above.

Any help, please.

I have have not added a monitor or do I have a wacom mouse nor do I use RoboForm - sorry should have stated I had already looked at this section of the manual too.

Also tried uninstall/re-install.

You're going to have to provide more information then. How does it crash, what error do you get, what activities trigger the crash. Start calibre in debug mode and post the output. This is caused by a conflict with something on your computer, calibre does not crash spontaneously by itself. You will have to figure out what it is. Start by turning off your antivirus program. Reboot in safe mode and see if the crash can be replicated and so on.

The programme closes out completely with the windows error message:
"calibre.exe has stopped working. Aproblem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"
This occurs as soon as I initiate the conversion from epub to mobi.
Also random crashes as above when editting metadata.
Conversion was successful in safe mode - unable to detect the problem though.
Calibre 32bit works without any issues.
2 files attached.
(I am using a logitech mouse via bluetooth)

You've got some conflicting program like RoboForm on your computer. You will have to eliminate them one by one till you find the culprit. Tedious, but I see no other alternative. First start with antivirus and any accessibility related programs (or any program that modifies how you interact with other programs).

Problem solved but I cannot understand how it worked! I exited from the setpoint settings app and all is now working! Not sure if you would like a debug log or not but one is attached. My mouse is Logitech Touch Mouse T620.
