![]() I am putting n ePub file thru' flight crew and I get errors in opf file, saying, the <item> element's "href" attribute value is "x y z_split_000.htm", which is not a valid URI. What does that mean? And how do I correct it so that it passes ePub-check in Sigil?

You don't want any filenames with spaces in them.

A space is not allowed in a URI, you should write "%20" instead. But listen to JSWolf and do not use spaces (or any other possibly strange character) in filenames, it will save you headaches.

A '.' or '_' instead of spaces in filenames is usually the recommended characters to use.
Example: Quote:

In the box, you can then type: Quote:
