Downloading Metadata window not resizable vertically?

I'm using Calibre 08.58 on a Windows XP Netbook at the moment. My lovely 17" widescreen laptop was a victim of the recent summer storms and my (mistaken) belief in my surge protector.

Anyway, the netbook obviously has a smaller screen. When I click on Download Metadata, the window that opens is too long for the screen. I tried to resize, and it'll resize horizontally (side-to-side) but not vertically (can't make it shorter top-to-bottom) which is what I need.

Any idea if this is tweakable? I tried to find it, but either have poor search skills (which is possible, I only find what I want to here about half the time) or no one's asked this question recently.
