Custom/Modified Output Profile
Just started using Calibre this week and it's absolutely awesome. I am running into some trouble with large images. I'm converting my CBRs to EPUBs (I know, not preferred, but it allows me to use 1 good app to read everything I own) and the images are too large for my device (Galaxy Tab 8.9 resolution 1280x800). The b&n nook app seems to have a bug and doesn't scale images (they scale fine on Calibre's EPUB viewer).
So my question is, can I edit an existing output profile to fit my resolution? Or add my own? The existing Galaxy Tab profile is for a different resolution and most of the other profiles don't list their resolutions. I'm perfectly will to edit some files if I need to. I just haven't found where the output profiles are stored yet. |

Look at customize/profiles.py in the source.

*sigh* Nevermind. I would finally find the information I'm looking for right after I post. Turns out there's "Override Image Size" in Comic Input.
Forcing the size isn't quite ideal (since it makes landscape a mess) but until I figure out how to get the nook app to scale properly or find another quality reader for EPUB or EPUB+CBR I'm stuck with it. EDIT: Thanks kovid. Awesome work, btw. |
