Best way to ensure consistent and recent covers?

Hi,

I'm just wondering if there is anyway I can find covers for a series in bulk, and ensure I get the latest reissue so everything is consistent?

At the moment I'm trawling through Google images and doing it manually, not the end of the world, but with some series being maybe 40 books or so, it can take a while!

Thanks

I use the following Metadata download plugins to download covers.

Goodreads
Barnes and Noble
Fantastic Fiction
Amazon

The first three are third party plugins that have to be added to calibre. Usually one of these returns a suitable cover. If these plugins don't reveal a suitable cover I use the "Search the Internet" plugin to go straight to Google images from the book entry to find a cover.

kiwidude is pleased to have another user. Should kiwidude refer to himself in the third person always now that he is a third party?

kiwidude says there is no such thing as bad publicity when it comes to getting plugins noticed
