Only add one filetype in nested folders?

Hi all, I'm new here.

I've been using Calibre for about two years and I am bit stumped with a problem... I have a collection of ebooks set up in nested folders...

e.g. Library\author - title\title.epub
title.mobi
title.prc

I'd like to just add the epub version and get rid of the rest... How I do this now in Calibre is I just:

1) Add Books->Control the adding of books->Automatic adding
2) Check all file types but .epub
3) Choose which folder to point to (author-title) and click apply and restart.

This is great for single folders but not for nested folders. I can't just add the parent folder (Library) and have Calibre scan all the folders within Library and get the epubs from them.

Is there a way to do this? A plugin, perhaps? I don't think Calibre can process like this I have tried adding just two folder and nothing is scanned or added to the Calibre Library.

Any help would be most appreciated.

I can't think of anything in calibre to help with this, but you can achieve it using Windows Explorer (I'm assuming you are using Windows because of the backslash).

In the parent directory, do a search for all epubs. Then drag all the results to the calibre main window.
