Tags highlight and not reduce list shown

Hi

Previous to a few updates if you clicked the format tag filter it would just show only those books in that format, you could then do control and A to select. Now it appears to highlight them in green, but all the other books are till showing so cannot use control and A.

I have installed the find duplicate plug in which was about the time the change happened, uninstalled but still getting highlighted rather than filtered list

Help greatly appreaciated

It is nothing to do with calibre versions - you have inadvertently entered the different mode calibre has for displaying search results. There is a little button to the right of the search box/go button which has horizontal lines on it, click on that to toggle in/out of that search mode.
