PRS-350 collections with Calibre on my 350?

I normally use my kindle, but I've recently gotten a book that my husband wants to read, and it's only available in e-format, so I'm setting him up with it on my Sony 350, which I haven't used in several months.

I've totally forgotten how to get a book into a collection using Calibre. I have the vague memory that collections are automatic, and set up based on the tag assigned to the book... is this right?

(this is all part of my evil plan to get my husband to start using an ereader, because we really have *no* more room for books, or room for stacked boxes of books.)

You're correct... whatever tag you assign in Calibre will be the collection the book is in on your reader.

It actually depends on how you have setup the Sony Plug In.

The default, if IIRC, is Authors and Tags.

Mine is set up for Series and a custom column that is series like, but by authro name, and the order is what I set, typically order published or grouped by series.
