Strange Reader for PC Author Limitation

I have 5 books by the author Andrew Vachss, but the reader software will only allow me to show 4 in the library. If I try to add the missing book the software will remove a listed book and replace it the one I'm trying to add. This seems to be the only author that this effects. Some other authors I have as many as 18 books. Has anyone else see this? This happens on my desktop and my tablet PC.

I just thought of something. I'm at work now, but when I get home I going to create a pdf document then use calibre to give it the metedata of the limited author and then convert it to epub format. Then I will load it into the reader library and see if it causes the software to allow the missing 5th book to be seen. I know that it will cause my numbers to be off, but at least hopefully I'll be able to have the missing books displayed.

Didn't work. It showed the books that I created, but would only replace an actual book and not the fake one.
