Calibre Metadata freezing since update
Since the latest update install of 0.8.38, I'm having trouble with the metadata window causing freezing of the programme when I hit OK. Only way out is to close Calibre from the Windows taskbar or Task manager. This problem is inconsistant. Happens in about 50% of cases of using the metadata window.
When you do force a close, on reopening Calibre, it has saved the metadata. Also having problems with the metadata search not searching thoroughly but immediately sending up a message that there is no metadata available - when it hasn't taken the time to look. A manual Google search will throw up the details in Goodreads, Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Anybody else experiencing these problems? Dale |
