Just ordered Paperwhite
Well couldn't resist anymore. Should arrive on my birthday in 2 days
I hope it will be good!

I know soon new things will be coming but:
1. I can return it within 30 days
2. Whatever new will come it won't be available in Europe till mid next year
3. I always wanted it anyway
4. Strangely enough this time husband will not whine about a new ereader in the house.

Happy and looking forward (crossing fingers for a good item)

I'm all for instant gratification! Unless something much better is just around the corner (like the Nexus 7 2013 that Europe gets in less than two weeks, so I wait instead of buying another tablet), there's little point in waiting. There are new devices every year anyway, so why waste months of enjoyment? Especially if it's something that improves your QoL right away (like the frontlight will).

Congrats to the purchase!

I agree. It's a very good ereader. I loved my K3 but it's been gathering dust of late while I have been using the Paperwhite. I have it (the K3) on hand though for a back up ereader. And of course some of the games that I bought for the K3 don't work on the Paperwhite either.
