Cutting up Patterson novels to reduce page turning...

Hi all, and happy holidays. I have searched hi and low and can't seem to find an answer as to how I go about changing the format on my ePub ebooks so that I can delete all the wasted space authors like Patterson use to justify us paying money for their books. It's gotten to be too much for me. What I want to do is delete all the blank half pages, blank whole pages, and basically consolidate the book so I do not have to turn the page constantly.

Any help is appreciated. Happy reading and I hope everyone got a new book for the holidays. I know I did. Although I got it myself.

Seriously, thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer. I use a PRS_950 if that's important.

Update: I'm using Sigil now, going through deleting pages one by one. So far, it's slow, but it's worth it. If anyone has anything to share, I'm all ears.

Blank Pages?
This problem can be accomplished by so many means that there is no better solution than what you are doing without knowing the code construct that is cauing this.
Conversion from PDF is a likely cause, which makes your eyeball and fix technique one of the best.
Since this is a book likely in copyright, please DO NOT post more than a line or 2 of code if you need help with a REGEX replace.

if you don't mind losing some styles then convert source to txt, followed by convert txt to epub should remove all the empty pace. tick also the remove space between paragraphs options
