Newspaper Font?

The book I"m converting has a series of newspaper articles at the end of the book (kind of like an epilogue). Now I know I shouldn't be screwing with fonts too much...is there a way to give a good visualization of a newspaper?

You cannot change font in mobipocket, but you can use <blockquote>, which would give you a left margin. However, it only makes sense if the blockquotes are mixed with normal text, otherwise you are simply wasting screen space.

The Kindle (and its apps) recognizes the html <tt> tag to create a boxy "Typewriter/Teletype Text" style and will display that text using a different (monospaced) built-in font. I'm not sure if that would be suitable for your needs, but I've used it for similar effects. I suggest trying it out.

Nice! Perfect. Works great. I didn't need anything fancy...just so that it looks somewhat like a newspaper (so they know they're reading something different).

Do you know (and I can just test it) whether this would be valid for ePub too?

ADE seems to render it in a different font, but I'm not sure about the various ePub devices. It doesn't look as much like a teletype/typewriter font to me in ADE, but it does render in a monospaced font.

Also, you may have to adjust the font size in relation to your "normal" text.
