Just a Heads Up. A new version of 'Tools' is available. Usual spot.

Be sure to read the notes along with it. It appears we may be coming to an end. While I like Amazon and find it easy to buy from them, if I can't 'free' my books, I will have to buy elsewhere.

I'm still on 1.4.1. I think they are reporting that 1.6 is working with the new tools.

I don't know what the upgrade brings, but 1.4.1 works fine for me.

Just curious. If one had to downgrade would you just install over your current version or would you uninstall first?

I uninstall first.

Note: any time you downgrade (or even re-register) and you have previously downloaded books already in your 'My Kindle Content' folder... those books will need to be deleted and re-downloaded from your archive before the Tools will work on them.
