Kindle ip address
I get a new 3G Kindle today (in UK). My modem router is MAC filter enabled. I therefore need my Kindle's ip address - e.g. 00-0D-60-07-2A-F0. How do I get this? An answer to john@frewston.plus.com would be wonderful.

Which do you want - an IP address or a MAC address? They are not the same thing!

Take a look at settings page of your Kindle. At the bottom of the first page: "Wi-Fi Mac Address: ...."

A little OT suggestion: You might not want to post your email address like that in public forums. It's pretty much an open invitation to spambot harvesters. Rely on the forum or the private message system, both of which can notify you by email when you get a reply.
