Interesting Testing Results
A rather unusual issue has come up. We are working with a number of schools who are testing the eDGe for their delivery and one has asked us to look into a problem that has arisen with a multiple choice test they presented yesterday using their LMS ( Moodle). Students were using a number of devices to receive the test but about 2/3 used eDGe's.
The eDGes (all using dingo 1.1) performed admirably, even on video based questions, however most had issues with the virtual keyboard being overly sensitive underneath the keys. A number of students appeared to activate the test answers below the keyboard and had to scroll back to reset them. I recommended that the school may want to purchase a number of inexpensive USB keyboards for the future but was interested in whether anyone else has seen this phenomenon. Bob |

Yes, I sent along the question to them and expect a quick reply.

I've avoided using Moodle as much as possible but I haven't had any problems like that. I have had a similar problem with SurveyMonkee when typing in comments in a box and there are questions underneath the virtual kepyboard. It didn't put in an answer below for every key I hit, just when I was near the edge of the virtual keyboard.

That appears to be the issue. They are typing in comments and an answer button for a question underneath the keyboard occasionally gets selected.
