B&N epub book

I downloaded a free B&N book today. It won't open in my ADE and when I import it into Calibre, it looks normal but is DRM-locked on my Sony. I have been to Apprentice Alf and all is updated. Any ideas?

When you open it in the calibre-viewer does it say it's DRM locked?

B&N uses it's own DRM scheme that is different from what Adobe implements with ADE.

Well, B&N gives you the option to open it in ADE so I tried that first, as it wasn't something I would have minded reading on the computer if it couldn't transfer to my reader (a cookbook). But it wouldn't show up at all on ADE, so I saved it and then transferred and assumed my plug-ins would handle it at import into Calibre. however, I just went back and read all the way down on Apprentice Alf and realized that plug-in has to be customized, so all's good. Thanks!
