They are all different. They would all have to be maintained separately, and no one would read most of them. It would siphon off the extremely limited number of volunteers who write recipes for sites that people do want to read. There are already lots of unfulfilled requests.

Dude you don't have to be a downer. Maybe someone wants a new challenge! No reason to stifle progress. Let people be free and choose what they want. This isnt a socialist society where the needs of the many outweigh the wants of someone to read a paper from Idaho =D

Unless you are willing to put some serious buck here nobody will do it.

I wanted to read the Greensboro NC paper and learned just enough to create a recipe for it.

If you want to read a paper from Idaho just ask. If someone in Idaho needs help they can ask and we will be glad to help. This is the internet and if there is a local need someone from that area can step up and fill that need. Your hopes / expectations are unrealistic unless you're willing to step up to coordinate it. Take your own challenge instead of whining that someone is being a "downer"

1. Create a list of all 5000 papers available for all to view. Google docs spreadsheet might work.
2. Note which papers have recipes already. Here are two from NC already with recipes.
News & Observer (Raleigh)
News & Record (Greensboro)
3. Ask for people to volunteer and add the name of said volunteer after the paper they volunteered for.
4. Track the progress and provide updates.

Good Luck.

The least you could have done was to say that you wanted to read one of those papers or that you had friends that wanted to read at least one of them. You offered no help in doing the work, gave no indication that anyone would benefit from all that work, and you apparently had no recognition of the amount of work required to write or maintain all those recipes. All you gave was a list of feeds that might or might not be of interest to someone. I've seen a list of ten thousand feeds, but it's of no benefit to post that list as no one will work on them if they aren't personally interested or know someone who is.
