B&N fixed the 1.1 download file
For awhile, the manually downloaded file from B&N to update stock NC to 1.1.0 was corrupted.
Yesterday, they quietly corrected this and the update works again. It should match: Sideload_update.zip md5: 2F533C63FCFDB4F655C684BD9A95A298 Follow the directions on the B&N site. |

Apparently not, I just downloaded it today and the Nook does not recognize it as a valid update file. According to their instructions you just sideload it onto the root directory of the NC and disconnect from your PC and it will recognize it "in a few minutes or when it goes into sleep mode" but that is not happening with mine.
Am I missing something, is there something else I need to do? |
