An old codger from Downunder
G'day friends

Thought I would say hello from Brisbane. I am an 80 year old not so smart where my birthday present is concerned, an Amazon kindle. I have managed to gather a few books but in trying to sort out the Bible into their separate books found that to bring them up again they came out in the wrong order so I have to make a search, which is a bit slow considering I could read from the good book faster. If there is some kind cove out there who can advise me please. I do not mind deleting what I seem to have made a mess of so long as I can keep all of the books I have bought. The Instruction book like all instruction books is like a Koala with no gum leaves to eat. Not a nice way to introduce myself by asking for help right away, but I can see no point in getting lost in the Gibber desert when there are professional guides like you folk out there.
I see there is a 72 year old doing well on his, but I do have eight years on him.
Would be grateful for some help from any of you cobbers out there. Any chance of getting the bible chapters indexed by the way.

Hi Codger,

I just joined five minutes ago. I live in Nanuet, NY. I have no idea how to do chapters, I'm trying to set them up myself for a book I wrote. Ooroo back. It's just one problem after another in the digital world, especially now in ebooks. It's the Wild West out there, so don't feel 80 has much to do with it. I'm 58 and baffled. Good Luck. markjoseph

Welcome to MR! I can't say that I've ever ventured into the area of organization that you're trying to conquer on your Kindle, so unfortunately I'll be of no help. That said, if it can be done, someone here will probably know how :-)
