Barnes & Noble - 8% Cash Back Today...

I've been on the fence, and will probably go with the Kindle 3, but for what it's worth, I thought I'd mention that eBates.com is paying 8% cash back on B&N purchases today (usually 4%). I've used ebates for years, and that is a pretty tempting offer. I don't see any fine print that excludes the Nook or Nook color. Hope this helps someone.

Also Discover is offering 2% cash back on all online purchase through 12/31. I hope mentioning these offers doesn't violate any terms of use/forum rules.

I wish that there was a graphite-colored e-ink nook. I don't want a white ereader.

I hear you; but I'd tread lightly on this issue. Some people around here get highly offended when someone wants a black Nook. They might even put you on ignore ...LOL

I also find the white color too bland... Check out the skins at www.skinit.com and www.decalgirl.com - you can have a different "wardrobe" for your nook (or any other reader or phone, laptop, whatever) as often as you wish for under $20 per skin! Fairly easy to apply and removes without leaving any residue.
