Kindle PW1 not syncing anymore
Hey folks
I haven't used my kindle in a while and I realised that it won't sync my libraries anymore. I can't remember if this is intended (the Kindle PW EY21 (5.3.3) is jailbroken and KUAL v2.7 is installed)? Restarting has not helped, air plane mode has not helped. Any way I can sync my online library or is that something I need to say goodbye to? Sorry if this is a dumb question. Your cellular network has probably deprecated the cellular services K1 needs.
This happened in the US 2 or 3 years ago, if not earlier. For awhile it would still connect to the network (and update Kindle time), but not connect to Amazon. I think that service is gone now as well. I have a K1 ($20 on eBay) but we never had coverage where I live with whoever Amazon partnered with. It worked for a couple of years where there was coverage. What an ugly device. I love it. |
