How to upgrade my boox max to android 4.4

So I really want to do this as I think it could solve some problems with Bluetooth connection drop-outs and errors. It doesn't seem to be available from ereader.store any more. Does anybody know where I can download the update?

Here you go
All data wil be erased.
Turn off.
Hold PgDn and PgUp -> Turn on -> Wait until one blue flash blinked.
Connect to PC.
Run MfgTool2.exe -> Start -> Done -> Exit.
Profit.

Thank you for your reply- will it still be the onyx optimised android (just in 4.4)? Also it doesn't have PgDn and PgUp buttons- are these instructions definitely for the right device? Thanks

This is Android 4.4.4 for Onyx Boox Max (not Carta and not Max 2) from ereader.store. Yet it is stil beta.
PgDown and PgUp - buttons with small arrow above.
Second file - software v1.8.2 for Onyx Boox Max (Android 4.0.4).

So for those who might be interested the 4.4 upgrade didn't solve the the problems and I downgraded again to get back the ability to refresh the screen by tapping the clock which also makes it turn the page when it's locked up.

Thank you M_Faust for the installation files that let me try it out.
