Daily Downoald of News

Each morning I have set Calibre to downoald a few newspapers.

It does it perfectly....but beore it emails it to my Kindle....a box pops up asking me if i want to convert the file.

This stops the process....if i am not at my main computer, it doesn't finish the process and I have to manually click the box to get the newspapers on my kindle.

Any thoughts on how to fix this so it just does it automatically???

You need to make sure that Preferences->Behavior has the preferred output format set to MOBI. This setting is used to determine what format news should be generated in.

Thank You for your Reply....I checked and that is what I have it set on.

Any other thoughts?

Assuming your output format is set to mobi, see attached. Then what you describe is not normal. What format is the downloaded news prior to sending it to the Kindle?

The only other reason this would pop up is if mobi is unchecked as an option in your device interface plugin and it is converting the file to another format such as PDF. Or you are not sending to a Kindle but to another device.

You might want to reboot your computer or restart calibre.
