Just wanted to report that my August 7th Wifi Kindle (US) just changed this morning (in the past 30 mins or so) from "not yet shipped" to "shipping soon".

Nice! I checked on my two orders. Both have not moved (one placed 8/15, one on 8/25). Looks like whatever batch this is, it must be localized to within a few days of August 7th.

huh, i've ordered aug 10th and it shipped aug 27th (friday afternoon)
it was delivered aug 31th (tuesday morning), pretty nice result as i live in europe
