Claudia Hershey series by Laura Belgrave

I saw this series in the Fictionwise multiformat new list this week. I've learned at Fictionwise you can often find some gems by going to the indie publishers web pages and seeing what they have to offer.

I found this series was also available on Smashwords and is 50% off during July:

I just finished the first book and enjoyed it very much. The ending was a bit rushed and didn't have as much closure as I wanted, but otherwise it was an engaging read that kept me entertained throughout. I've just started the second book which so far has also been good, but I'm only 10% through that one.

I also found the Roland Longville series from the same publisher, about a soft-hearted private eye from the blurbs. I haven't read them yet, but all 6 books are also 50% off, so I took a chance and bought them.
