Sony Reader Download
I have downloaded the Reader software to my PC and purchased a book.

I cant seem to download from the PC to to my Reader. Can anyone help?

I can't help... I'm useless and I actually have to read the instructions...

When you buy a reader, don't they send some instructions with it, or at least something you can read online???

Hi Doug and welcome to MobileRead. What model reader do you have and, when you connect it to your PC via the USB cable, does the reader show up in the left hand column?

I connect the reader to the computer. then I open the Sony software and click on library. I drag and drop the book from the library to the reader icon.

If it works, you can click on the reader icon and see the book there.

Check your email Doug and see if an email came from Sony saying that you are signed up with Adobe (if you are in the US). Then close the Library, and open it back up again. Log back into your account. Then try and drag and drop a book you bought into your Reader. It should tell you that you need to authorize the Reader, and say yes. Then everything should work.
