The Sony Touch is in todays Frys advertisement at $297.99 for the DFW area. They are showing PRS-600RC and PRS-600BC models as applicable to the ad.

I was just thinking that Fry's should be able to do better than 2$ off.

I'm still waiting to get close and personal to the 600. I don't live exactly near a sonystyle and bestbuy canada just started selling them online yesterday but don't have any in store yet.

Unfortunately the Online store and the B&M stores are separate entities. They do no honor each other’s price or sales. But, I work ~5 miles from one Frys, live ~5 miles from a second and drive past a third on my way to work. As far as I know, the only Sony Style store is in the Galleria and is a pain for me to get to. I would much prefer to drive over to Frys during lunch to look at a device and form my own opinions of it. I would not to expect to see any price reduction until the holidays and then a very low price reduction. It is brand new and the supply chain is only now getting them in stock. All of the new devices coming out very soon may drive the price down.
