A trival thing with the time

I don't know if this is the right section to post this but...

I tend to find checking the time on my Sony Reader 505 inconvenient Because I have to go back into the main menu to check. In some reviews, however, I noticed that some people are able to get the dime in the lower right (?) hand corner. How is that done and can i do it?

If it helps my reader is blue...
