Thanks, nigeldb! I voted for Doncaster, but either day/locale suits me, too. I suppose I shouldn't really have voted...

My friend Julie is fine for either day and either venue.

Maybe you could add an option for either day/locale?

Hi cbell....thought it might be easier to restrict the choice or else I might get one vote for each.

all recovered now. I voted for CBD. Sorry, to me Doncaster is a place in Yorkshire, England. So you'd have to tell me it's easy to get there by public transport, and how, to sell it to me.

By the way, a footnote on my Hanlin. My husband got a golf gps but the charging plug doesn't work. They had no black ones in J.B.s so now he's got mine and I have a cute? pink one. Can you get pink usb cables to match, I wonder?

Hi I'm afriad the only way to get to Doncaster shopping town on public transport is by bus. It's out along the Eastern freeway.

No tram and no train

Laine, I'm glad you've recovered from your last trip to Melbourne!

I think the majority will select CBD, but if we end up with Doncaster...

If you're willing to get the train to Mitcham again, I'm happy to pick you up there on the way to Doncaster (and drop you back at Mitcham afterwards).

(This offer's just for Laine, as we've met.)

Doncaster's a great shopping centre.

Laine, pink USB hubs and cables are available... this is mine. I didn't choose the colour, and don't like it much - but it does the job.

I'll be bicycling from Coburg so Doncaster is out. But either day is fine. Chocolate might even get my partner to come along.

Looks like we're set for Sat June 13th, 11am at Koko Black at 52 Collins St in the CBD.

I'll phone Koko Black and ask if they take bookings. We have 10 votes so far, but I'll hold off on making the booking until a bit closer.

Any lurkers wanting to join our Melbourne meetup, please step forward by Monday June 8th!
